Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Speedlogistics Truck line. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency and productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of logistics staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing coaching and guidance.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including requisitioning and ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship programs that pair employees with experienced colleagues, including programs for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
