Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals utilized in a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic procedures. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with quality assurance protocols for radiopharmaceuticals, imaging apparatus, and necessary documentation as mandated by regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals for over 70 diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of quality assurance for all radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
  • Document all procedures and maintain records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certification from CAMRT and licensure from NSCMIRTP.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • WHMIS certification.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with patients.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
Work Environment:
  • This is a permanent full-time role.
  • Expect rotating shifts that may include on-call duties.
  • Travel between various healthcare sites may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $39.96. A comprehensive benefits package is available, including health, dental, and life insurance, alongside a pension plan.
