About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Unideco Commercial & Residential LTD. As a Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
  • Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Equipment Operation: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work areas to ensure surfaces are properly prepared and painted, and make adjustments as needed.
Work Environment

As a Painter with Unideco Commercial & Residential LTD, you will work in a variety of locations, including commercial and residential buildings. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces, and must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and for extended periods of time.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
