Dr. Pidzarko has been a General Dentist since earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Alberta in 1990. He founded Ocean Dental and has been dedicated to this practice ever since, with a strong commitment to ongoing education.

Dr. Beckie graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan in 1986.
After relocating to Metro Vancouver in 1987, he practiced in various locations before establishing himself at Ocean Dental in 1998.

In his personal time, he enjoys skiing, hockey, golf, yoga, gardening, and photography. He has been happily married since 1991 and is a father to three school-aged daughters, maintaining a close-knit extended family.
Dr. Mehr Poulad | General Dentist, DMD, University of British ColumbiaDr. Poulad earned his dental degree from the University of British Columbia, following an undergraduate degree in Cell Biology, Genetics, and Economics.
During his dental studies, he completed an externship in a rural BC community, where he provided dental care to underserved populations. He continues to volunteer his expertise annually, traveling to countries in need.
Dr. Poulad has a rapport with individuals of all ages, having spent a decade as a day camp leader, sports instructor, and mentor. He has also volunteered at a long-term care facility for the elderly.
Growing up on the North Shore, he engaged in various team sports, including basketball, soccer, rugby, and volleyball, continuing to play intramural sports at university.
His focus is on patient comfort and education, striving to alleviate any fears associated with dental treatment.
Dr. Brian Shim | General Dentist, DMD, University of British ColumbiaDr. Shim initially studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, where he discovered his passion for dental research. He later obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia.
Practicing all facets of dentistry, Dr. Shim is dedicated to continuing education and aims to foster a positive and comfortable atmosphere for improving oral health.
In his leisure time, he enjoys staying active through biking, camping, and skiing.
