We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop your store team to deliver world-class service to all customers
  • Help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and solutions for their pets
  • Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, and day-to-day assignment of tasks
  • Ensure all staff adhere to corporate standards and procedures
  • Coordinate order placements, maintain inventory, and complete store audits and safety audits
  • Coordinate efforts of store staff to achieve targeted results
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and retail store management experience
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
  • Ability to observe and coach employees to provide feedback on sales techniques and customer service
  • Industry experience an asset
