Risk Management Specialist

CWB is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management, and client-facing support for a complex and diversified client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Credit Underwriting: Partner with sales teams to support the branch through effective and timely credit underwriting for new and existing borrowing clients.
- Risk Management: Use knowledge of credit policies and arrangements to apply risk mitigation skills to ensure appropriate measures are put into place and risk assessment protocols and structures are implemented.
- Client Experience: Connect with clients daily and provide critical retention touch points for high-value clients, actively determining needs and referring clients to other business partners across CWB Financial Group.

- Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience) with demonstrated and proven abilities within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
- Approximately 6 years of experience within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
- Direct leadership and coaching experience.
