Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: Proficiency in English or French is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week, with a permanent employment arrangement.
