Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from initial concept to detailed design development, particularly in the fields of healthcare, justice, research, and sports facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers to ensure alignment with client expectations, project specifications, budget constraints, timelines, and relevant building regulations.
- Employ Revit for the development, coordination, and preparation of technical design details, drawings, and documentation that align with the project vision.
- Create design sketches, conduct space planning, and produce 3D models and renderings for client presentations.
- Prepare construction drawings for permitting purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, justice, research, and sports facility design.
- Ability to harmonize creative design with client requirements effectively.
- Strong technical skills in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Enscape, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to meet project deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of current building codes, construction details, and building science principles.
- Exceptional conceptual, graphic, and design capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
