Operations Manager

The Operations Officer is a key member of the Victim Services leadership team, responsible for leading the Branch's Operations by planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation throughout the various operational service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide central coordination, consultation, and collaboration in the development of quality assurance and continuous improvement for services in support of provincial Victim Services.
- Monitor service policies, processes, and practices for strategic alignment and compliance, and develop recommendations to address risk and gaps.
- Lead the Branch's Operations by planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation throughout the various operational service areas.
- Post-secondary degree in social sciences, public or business administration or other related discipline and extensive related work experience in management, or equivalent role.
- Experience leading victim services in operational functions in a provincial victim services program.
- Experience leading and directly managing staff including: training, delegating tasks, and attendance management, while fostering a collaborative, innovative and productive work environment.
- Knowledge or experience in Project Management, LEAN methodology and Change Management.
- Strong proficiency of the Prosecutions and Scheduling Management System (PRISM), including knowledge or experience with producing reports, and correspondence by using the application.
The Operations Officer reports to the Director of Victim Services and is accountable for providing central coordination, consultation, and collaboration in the development of quality assurance and continuous improvement for services in support of provincial Victim Services.
