We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Social Worker, you will provide psychosocial services to patients and their families, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess and plan for safe return to community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct social and psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective coping strategies
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and brief therapeutic interventions to patients and their families
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Registration with the BC College of Social Workers
- One year of clinical experience as a Social Worker in a hospital or healthcare setting
