About the Role

Tania Negrete Solares is seeking a skilled and compassionate Childcare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Dressing, and Feeding: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of infants and children by bathing, dressing, and feeding them in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Personal Hygiene and Social Development: Teach children the importance of personal hygiene and social development, promoting healthy habits and emotional intelligence.
  • Organizing Activities: Plan and implement engaging activities, such as games and outings, to stimulate cognitive and motor skills development.
  • Nutritious Meals: Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks, taking into account dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Rest Periods: Help infants and children wind down and prepare for rest periods, ensuring a smooth transition to sleep.
  • Supervision and Care: Provide close supervision and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school and appointments, promoting a sense of security and routine.
  • Emotional Well-being: Foster a nurturing environment that promotes emotional well-being, empathy, and self-awareness in children.
Work Environment

As a Childcare Specialist with Tania Negrete Solares, you will work in a home-based setting, providing care and education to a multi-aged group of children. The work environment is dynamic and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
