Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure the security and safety of our properties by adhering to health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain central plant and related systems to provide a comfortable environment for our tenants and patrons.
  • Test fire equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper operation and tenant safety.
  • Conduct daily inspections of common and maintenance areas to ensure proper lighting levels and overall facility condition.
  • Respond to tenant concerns regarding HVAC issues and provide solutions or recommendations to reduce repair costs and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the facilities team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and enrollment in a relevant trade program (SMA or SMT).
  • Minimum two years' experience in physical plant operations, HVAC, and related equipment in a commercial hi-rise or mixed-use environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures and familiarity with site and current technology.
  • General knowledge of HVAC electrical/mechanical systems and computer programs (Microsoft Office, Gmail, Energy management systems software).
