Job Title: Business Analyst

At BMO, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and identify strategies to optimize business operations and services
  • Define business requirements to inform technology build and operations
  • Source and analyze relevant data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Assess the efficiency and performance of technology systems to deliver expected business results
  • Elicit requirements and analyze feasibility to ensure solutions achieve expected business outcomes
  • Support project teams across the project lifecycle to ensure development is aligned with business requirements
  • Develop informative project documents for multiple stakeholders
  • Apply domain and functional expertise to drive business value
  • Break down complex problems and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
Qualifications:
  • Foundational level of proficiency in Agile Delivery and Development, Data Analysis, Learning Agility, Process Improvement and Optimization, Organization Process Optimization, Business Architecture Frameworks, Stakeholder Analysis and Management, Digital Fluency, and Systems Thinking
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Business Requirements Definition and Analysis, Insights Development and Reporting, Application Functional Design, Functional Analysis, Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Collaboration and Team Skills, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, and Data-Driven Decision Making
Requirements:
  • Typically between 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $60,000.00 - $111,700.00, a salaried pay type, and a comprehensive total compensation package that includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
