Safety-Kleen Brantford, ON is looking for a DZ Sales Route Driver (Sales and Service Representative) to service all assigned customer services, meeting customer needs and selling additional services in a defined route while all local, provincial, and federal rules and regulations.   • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Visit various customer sites per day;
  • Physically move 45 Gallon Drums safely with a drum dolly; 
  • Physically move 40lb + Tote on wheels;
  • Physically and safely load and unload truck; 
  • Use Waste Codes per TDG regulation to classify drums and totes;  
  • Ensure that containers are properly rated and sealed for transportation as per TDG regulations; 
  • Placarding per TDG regulations; 
  • Identify opportunities and look to upsell products and services to customers;
  • Generate new sales leads along the route;
  • Safely operate a 5-ton box truck.
  • Travel between Cambridge and Guelph on route sales call;
  • Safely operate a truck lift gate; 
  • This branch is willing to consider candidates with a G license, but they must have the ability to obtain a Class DZ license on hire. 
  • Class DZ Driver’s License is an asset (Ability to obtain upon hire company paid);
  • Ability to submit 5 year Drivers Abstract for Transportation Compliance; 
  • Ability to adhere to Company policies (DA test and Physical); 
  • Previous commercial driving experience is an asset;
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset; 
  • Previous Route/Sales experience is an asset;
  • Ability to use automatic transmissions; 
  • Ability to physically move -45 Gallon Drums with a drum dolly; Move totes;
  • Ability to use Waste codes, environmental regulations per TDG regulation; 
  • Previous TDG training an asset;   
  • Ability to use handheld computer/printer;
