SCS Engineers is looking for an Environmental Services Leader to join our established team serving the Oklahoma market. We are a nationwide firm of growth-oriented Seller-Doers seeking a full-time Environmental Services (ES) Leader to help grow our business in the industrial/commercial and real estate markets. The position will also serve as a key leader in our Central Business Unit Environmental Services (ES) Practice and will work alongside the Central Business Unit ES Practice Leader to drive operational growth, project deliverable standardization and efficiencies, and overall quality and safe delivery (proactive safety) across our nine Central U.S. offices. If you thrive in a friendly, collaborative company, and like dynamic work that challenges you to learn and grow each day, then SCS could be a fit for you. You will be based in our Yukon, OK office and are expected to be in the office at least 2 to 3 days per week, so some remote work is acceptable.
How you can make an impact
You will wear several hats, including project management responsibility, business development responsibility focused on growing the ES Practice, managing and mentoring ES staff, providing technical expertise, and serving as a Seller-Doer.
As our Environmental Leader, you will contribute to our growth of the office by:
- Developing new and existing clients
- Integrating with other Environmental Services and Solid Waste Services staff across the company
- Managing and being responsible for Profit/Loss of your projects and the business unit
- Seeking profitable ways to increase Satellite Office staff
As a Seller, you will contribute to our growth by:
- Playing a leading role in new client acquisition
- Maintaining or growing relationships with existing clients
- Collaborating with SCS national technical experts as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients' success
- Reviewing RFPs, assisting with go/no go decisions, drafting and reviewing proposals
- Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients
As a Doer, you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges such as:
- Environmental Due Diligence - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments
- Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation - soil, groundwater, stormwater, wastewater, subsurface gas, vapor intrusion
- Brownfield Assessment and Redevelopment
- Environmental Permitting, Reporting and Compliance – (e.g. RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, CAA, SDWA, CWA, FIFRA, OPA, EPCRA, NEPA)
- Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting
- Hydrogeologic Investigations
- Environmental Compliance
- Liquids Management Issues
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in an environmental related science or engineering field required
- 10+ years of related work experience required
- 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required
- Business Development experience in the Oklahoma market required
- Professional registration (e.g., P.E. or P.G.) or certification (e.g., CHMM, CIH, REM, or similar) preferred
- Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required
Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
