With over 15,000 same-day crowns completed since 2005 and a strong reputation in esthetic and implant dentistry, Honce Dentistry is now expanding our internal lab capabilities and seeking a highly skilled Senior Exocad Designer & Ceramist (CDT) to join our team to take it to a new level of excellence.

Position Overview:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced dental technician who thrives in anterior esthetics, ceramic artistry, and digital dentistry. You will lead the esthetic side of our in-house lab, producing beautiful, natural esthetic restorations and collaborating closely with Dr. Mark Honce on design, morphology, and case execution.

Responsibilities

Lead Exocad design for anterior, posterior, and full-arch cases
Perform ceramic finishing and characterization (e.max and zirconia)
Execute wax-ups, smile design, and esthetic mockups
Collaborate directly with the dentist on esthetic cases
Assist with in-house milling and 3D printing workflows
Manage case photography, shade selection, and texture mapping
Develop and optimize internal lab protocols
Maintain an organized, clean, digitally precise laboratory space

Qualifications

Required:

Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or equivalent experience
3-5+ years of Exocad experience (anterior esthetics required)
Strong ceramic finishing and staining skills
Excellent understanding of morphology, occlusion, and esthetics
Ability to communicate shade strategy and design decisions
A portfolio demonstrating anterior esthetic work

Preferred:

Experience with zirconia systems (Katana, Cercon, Zircad, etc.)
Experience with full-arch implant restorations
Familiarity with CBCT-integrated workflows
Digital photography experience (DSLR or mirrorless)

Compensation:

$32-$52+ per hour, depending on experience
