No matter what your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture – solving the world’s food problems through innovation, technology, and putting people first.Corteva has many exciting opportunities for a **Production Technician** to join our team at our **Lethbridge County, Alberta** facility**What You’ll Do:*** Perform tasks associated with harvest, conditioning and treat/packaging, some general repair and maintenance, as directed by supervisor.* Harvest activities from receiving to storage* Conditioning activities such as cleaning and sizing, treating and packaging, palletizing, wrapping and sampling* Shipping/receiving, interplant movement, rework, warehousing, and inventory management of bagged and bulk seed, including the safe operation of forklifts* Compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements* Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports such as quality, safety, grower, and inventory records**Education:*** You have your High School Diploma/GED OR are willing and able to obtain your GED within twelve (12) months of hire as a condition of employment.**What Skills You Need:*** You have previous experience or knowledge in production agriculture, operations, manufacturing, or related industry* You are comfortable with technology and possess a good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required* You are willing and able to perform the physical aspects of the job with or without reasonable accommodation: climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting* You have a valid driver’s license* You can work independently as well as in a team environment* You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills* Ability to adjust to quickly changing conditions and anticipate needs* You value health and safety You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you, and your colleagues, go home safely every day* You are willing and able to work a **night shift during peak season from October to March**, **and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends** during seasonal peaks to support production demand**What Makes You Stand Out:*** Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field* You have one (1) year of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industry* General knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture equipment (plows, tractors, forklifts, etc.)**Work Authorization and Relocation:*** This position does **NOT** offer a relocation package* VISA Sponsorship is **NOT** available for this position**Site Dedicated (100% at Corteva location):*** This role will be on site at our Corteva locationThis salary range for this position is $43,330 to $54,160Years of experience* Less than 2 years* 2 - 4 years* 4 - 8 years* 8+ yearsTop skillsCleaningUnloadingTalent Acquisition at Corteva uses technology by Eightfold AI.
