The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of engagements, oversee the preparation and review of working papers, financial statements, and tax returns, and ensure quality service delivery for a diverse client base. You will be responsible for coaching junior team members, contributing to internal training, and strengthening client relationships.

This role offers variety, leadership responsibilities, and the chance to shape the growth of yourself, your team, and your career. You will work closely with Partners and Principals, and will be supported by our dedicated Leadership Development Program.

Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and execution of engagements; oversee the preparation and review of working papers, financial statements, and tax returns; ensure quality service delivery for a diverse client base
- Coach junior team members and contribute to internal training
- Strengthen client relationships and collaborate with Partners and Leaders
- Support leadership development and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

- 5+ years post-CPA hands-on experience in a public accounting firm with experience in managing compilation, review, audit and/or tax engagements
- Experience with Caseware, TaxPrep, Microsoft Office, and openness to emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and client service
- Proven ability to plan and review client engagements through overseeing the completion of working papers, audit strategies, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns
- Focus on building and managing meaningful internal and external client relationships
- Curiosity to learn and apply technical knowledge to identify issues and offer solutions for clients and colleagues
- Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and mentor through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured training
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and high levels of service

- Offices: We have 5 offices in Guelph, Fergus, Kitchener, Orangeville, and Shelburne
