Azure Cloud & Automation Architect (Azure expert , AI & Cloud Migration Expert)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Automation Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and a strong background in AI-driven automation, cloud migration, and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert in designing and implementing scalable Azure cloud solutions, leveraging AI and automation to optimize workflows, enhance security, and streamline cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Azure  cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Design, develop, and automate cloud-native infrastructure architecture using Azure-native  IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform .
  • Implement AI-driven automation solutions to optimize cloud workloads, auto-remediation, and self-healing architectures.
  • Develop and enforce Azure security best practices  and compliance policies in multi-cloud environments.
  • Architect and deploy highly available, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions , integrating AI-powered monitoring tools.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using Azure DevOps  and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and DevOps teams, to integrate AI/ML models into Azure  cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize cost management  strategies by implementing AI-based cloud resource forecasting and auto-scaling in Azure .
  • Provide hands-on expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Azure  environments.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams on best practices for Azure  automation, AI integration, and DevOps workflows.
  • Implement and manage Azure Tenant Management  and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) integration for secure identity management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Automation, and AI-driven solutions .
  • Deep expertise in Azure is required (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure AI/ML, Azure Security, Azure Networking, Azure AD, Azure Policy Management).
  • Hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and container orchestration .
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible .
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go .
  • Expertise in DevOps & CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and IAM policies in Azure and multi-cloud environments .
  • Experience in Azure cloud migration projects, including hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.
  • AI-based automation experience for cloud operations and monitoring ( AIOps ).
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel for log management and security analytics.
  • Expertise in Azure Tenant Management and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)for secure and scalable identity management.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory), AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Preferred), Google Professional Cloud Architect (Preferred), or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with AWS and Google Cloud (Preferred, but Azure is primary).
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, or Open Telemetry ).
  • Experience in serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and cloud security automation.
  • Experience in designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
