We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our client's team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy across accounts and reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries while reconciling general ledger accounts and subsidiary accounts.

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.

• Conduct detailed reconciliations of monthly bank statements to ensure accuracy.

• Monitor and enforce adherence to internal policies and procedures across branches..

• Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and streamline processes.

• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to manage financial data effectively.

• Support month-end closing activities and ensure deadlines are met.

• Contribute to additional accounting tasks and projects as required.
