Worker Type: EmployeeJob Post End Date: 01/24/2026Job Description**About this opportunity:**Reporting to the Manager, Operations Process Engineer, the Site Operations Process Engineer will work with operations to solve operational issues and bottlenecks to increase safety and production rates and reduce OpEx for the assigned Lloyd Thermal assets. This role will be supporting 2-3 Lloyd Thermal assets.**Work Environment*** This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area.**What you’ll do:*** Provide process engineering support to achieve safe, reliable, and optimal operations through the application of process engineering, control, and technology* Ensure the availability of technical input for target setting and reflect equipment performance in optimization targets and provide input and guidance to Operations* Assist Operations in prioritizing maintenance and optimizing variable costs through energy management and technical expertise* Analyze performance variances between the commercial plan and actual results, supporting the optimization team in closing gaps* Participate in HazOps, LOPAs, incident investigations, and provide leadership on product quality issues and safety/environmental compliance**Who you are:**Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:* Legally authorized to work in Canada.* Post-secondary degree in Engineering.* Registered P.Eng with APEGA or APEGS.* Minimum 4 years relevant experience.* Experience in SAGD or Thermal Operations Process Engineering consider an asset.* Experience working with Operations considered an asset.We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines.
