We are looking for a talented Events Manager to lead our Banquet department. If you are interested in event planning, increasing sales, and a chance to grow your career in one of Canada's top hospitality groups, this is the role for you
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct and control the Banquet Operations of the restaurant/hotel at an excellent level while maintaining and abiding by all standards, policies, and/or procedures set forth by our company.
2. Providing leadership, training, and mentorship for our banquet team.
3. Identifying skill and leadership potential in your crew and developing those exceptional individuals into management roles within our company.
4. Banquet event execution and managing quality assurance.
5. Managing clients and customer service, including event quotes and accounts management.
6. Banquet inventory planning and labor control.
7. Managing and submitting weekly financial reporting regarding banquet sales, targets, and labor control.
8. Attending weekly BEO meetings with the Chef to ensure culinary excellence.
9. Travel within Canada and the US.

You will work one-on-one with clients to build their event while ensuring your team provides flawless execution. You are responsible for driving sales for the property with internal and external sales, as well as attending events such as golf tournaments, bridal/trade shows, and networking opportunities to achieve financial goals.
