Reporting directly to the Finance Supervisor, the Regional Supply and Transportation Analyst (RSTA) is responsible for the daily processing, variance investigation and tracking of invoice registers from Superior Gas Liquids, creating purchase orders and receipting all rail and trucked products for the specified region ensuring accuracy in all tasks. RSTA is responsible for timely and accurate processing of the direct haul and direct sales customers, as well as daily reconciliation to ensure all products have been accurately received as well as coordinating with other members of the team to ensure a clean cut off for each month end.
What you’ll do:
- Review, reconcile, process and post propane invoice registers daily. Ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
- Process daily Invoice register and investigate variances identified, provide solutions and corrections for product pricing and volume variances and communicate and track these variances with key stakeholders for corrections and approvals.
- Create purchase orders (POs) in ADDs system for bulk propane and freight.
- Collect, update and accurately receipt all purchases utilizing various sources of information. This includes retrieving lifting details and accurately populate and reconcile the carrier tool daily in “secure sheet”.
- Reconcile outstanding purchase orders and investigate discrepancies daily. Review product pricing info from national pricing group ensuring accuracy of data.
- Process direct hauls (DH) and direct sale (DS) customer loads as required.
- Communicate with carriers and other third parties as required.
- Work with and support regional Inventory Admins on propane variance investigation.
- Perform walkthroughs with auditors, validate and provide audit samples for key controls related to area of work.
- Vacation coverage to Senior Inventory Analyst and other members of the RSTA team.
- Support system upgrades by leading testing for area of work.
- Ad hoc reporting, investigations and data analysis as required.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, or Finance.
- Minimum of Three (3) years working experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of large data records.
- Team player, able to work well with others and under minimal supervision.
- Customer service skills that are supported by strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Excel and outlook.
- Previous Workday and ADDs systems experience is preferred.
- Fluency in French/English (Bilingual) both written and verbal will be an added asset.
Salary: $48,000-$58,000 annually,(based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
