The Role

We are currently searching for an Operations Administrator, reporting to the Supervisor, Operations. This is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity. Candidates will primarily work the afternoon shift but must be available for days, evenings, and Saturdays as needed.

Location

Onsite at the Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing

- Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
- Support operations working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Effective communication and customer service skills as this position requires direct contact with internal and external customers or third-party carriers
- Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
- Investigating and completing customer requests
- Building load manifests
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

- High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

- Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
- Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable

Skills

- Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
- Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

The base hourly rate for this position will range between $19.04/hour and $23.80/hour.
