Active Pathways is excited to announce an opportunity for compassionateSenior Recovery Support Workersto join our new 10-bed rehabilitation service,Heathy House, in Halifax. This residential service focuses on providing a step-down facility, helping individuals transition towards independent living.

About the Role:

As a Senior Recovery Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals. Your working hours will be from8pm to 8amon a rotating two-week rota:

- Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and supervise Recovery Support Workers in assisting residents with daily living tasks to promote independence.
- Provide personal care and ensure high-quality care delivery in line with evidence-based practices.
- Act as a role model and take responsibility for the unit in the absence of management.
- Mentor new staff and participate in ongoing staff development through supervision and training.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the well-being of service users is at the forefront of care.
- Facilitate recovery-focused activities and support residents in achieving their personal goals.
- Handle medication and maintain accurate care records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
- A strong understanding of care plans and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A commitment to promoting recovery and social inclusion.
