Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain GroundProbe SSR systems
- Monitor radar data, deformation trends, and atmospheric corrections
- Manage displacement alarm thresholds for personnel protection
- Complete diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative field maintenance
- Report slope performance and critical trends to operations
Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Geotechnical Engineering degree or related discipline
- Three years of relevant open-pit mining experience preferred
- GroundProbe SSR hardware and SSR-Monitor IQ proficiency preferred
- Readiness to work in a remote camp setting Bring radar monitoring, data analysis, and safety-focused geotechnical support to De Beers Group’s open-pit mining operations.
