We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our internal development team. This role will focus on supporting active C# applications by working on stability projects aimed at improving performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET, C# development, secure coding practices, and familiarity with the Azure cloud ecosystem. Experience with .NET Framework is also desirable. You will contribute to ensuring that internal development teams can focus on integration projects while maintaining a secure and stable codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

Augment Internal Team:

Support the internal team by picking up backlog User Stories and bugs during Sprints.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of completed code.

Perform code reviews of all team members' work collaboratively as part of the pull request release process.

Obtain approval from the Software Engineering (SE) Manager before releasing code.

Work on Stability Projects

Assist the Family Care Software Engineering team in upgrading .NET applications from version 6 to 8.

Ensure compatibility of the existing codebase during the upgrade.

Update and manage dependencies, including NuGet packages, for both .NET Framework and .NET Core.

Work on approved projects to enhance security and reduce help desk support needs.

Provide an updated, patched, and secured C# codebase.

Submit comprehensive test reports confirming functionality and security upon completion of User Stories.

Assist the internal software engineering team in the production release of the application.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a .NET Web Developer.
- Proficiency in C# as the primary programming language.
- Extensive experience working with .NET and .NET Framework.
- Expertise in upgrading NuGet packages for .NET applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Web Apps, including converting Azure functions from in-process to isolated worker models.
- Solid experience in remediating secure coding practices and authentication models for web applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A proactive problem solver with a solid understanding of security-first design in software development.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues and systems.
- Strong collaborative skills with a focus on teamwork and cross-functional support.
- Excellent debug and error resolution skills while working through complex, interdependent systems.

Certifications:

(Optional, but any relevant certifications related to .NET, C#, or Azure would be advantageous).
