About the Opportunity Statement Production & Client Service Support: Oversee quarterly client statement production cycle in accordance with quarter-specific deadlines, including: Run statement tasks, transfer files to SharePoint for PM/PA review and maintain statement trackers for both prelim and final statement production. Investigate and clear client, reporting group, or account set up issues that create statement issues and assist with financial data review for resolution of performance related issues. Ensure mail/electronic statements are delivered and/or posted and coordinate with Marketing and Communications team as needed. Reconcile statements produced with statements expected to ensure all clients that should receive a statement, do. Track all post run statement issues to resolution.  Financial Data & Reconciliation: Weekly book value reconciliation between the client's portfolio management system and the custodian: Research and resolve differences for all client security positions. Post correcting entries in Harmony or on NBIN systems, as applicable. SLA to clear all breaks within 5 days. Semi-annual review and reconciliation of tax costs between the client's portfolio management system and the transfer agent, for our client positions in our company. Funds and limited partnership. Review ACB of NPT146 against CWFS reports, in February (for December 31st of previous year) and September (for August yearend) so support the annual T5013 tax filing process. Liaise with CWFS to post correcting entries in Harmony or CWFS systems, as applicable. Investor static data for tax slip production: Review all nonresident clients to ensure accurate tax residency data in Harmony and to ensure correct Part XIII tax has been deducted throughout the year. Ensure all investor addresses and tax identification numbers are accurately maintained. Provide data to CWFS in February for production of T3 and T5013 slips. Circulate account/group audit reports to administration team, monitor to ensure appropriate actions taken and quarterly signoff received from each portfolio administrator. Maintain blended benchmark data for clients with updated IPS. General: Provide backup coverage for daily NBIN importer, pricing and reconciliations. Provide assistance, where able, on monthly Fund custody reconciliations. Complete daily financial data reconciliation between Salesforce and Harmony. Monitor NBIN SFTP site to transfer various reports and communicate availability to administrative team. Support team on special projects as needed About You 1-3 years of experience in reconciliation work, specifically in the securities industry. Basic understanding of equity and fixed income markets, securities transaction flows, how the cost of an asset is maintained and tax knowledge of capital gain/loss reporting. Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course, or willingness to enroll and successfully complete in the first year of employment. High attention to detail, with ability to keep excellent notes for proper audit trails. Multitasker with exceptional organization skills, able to manage shifting priorities and competing deadlines. Motivated self-starter who also collaborates effectively within a team.
