If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic outpatient clinic, is eager to learn more, and is passionate about helping our clients get back to life, you belong here Your impact This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases. Our KINs provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. They also play a pivotal role in supporting veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals. In this role, you will:
- Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
- Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
- Utilize e-charting software to document client sessions; submit reports to stakeholders promptly.
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
- Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
- Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart. Are you the right fit? - Registration and good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists is preferred.
- Preferably with clinical outpatient rehabilitation experience in areas such as WorkSafe CRP Program, ICBC, JSV, return to work, mental health, and musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury.
