This position reports to the Manager of Response to Violence Program." Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"Human Resources Exemption: NoEducationMaster of Social Work (MSW)Experience 2 years of experience providing direct offense specific services to perpetrators of violence and sexualized violence, including with child/adolescent victims. 1 year of post-graduate experience supervising in a team environment.QualificationsRegistered in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Social WorkersCan provide clinical supervision, consultation and training to MH professionalsKnowledge and AbilitiesDemonstrated competence in social work clinical practice in a MHAS setting.Can provide offense specific clinical services.Expert knowledge of intimate partner violence treatment modalitiesExpert knowledge of sexualized violence treatment modalitiesKnowledge in adult treatment and intervention techniques Knowledge of Domestic Violence Treatment Court process.Demonstrated competence in both clinical and administrative supervision Expert knowledge and advanced skill in a variety of treatment modalities. Knowledge in various mental disorders, etiology, treatment and interventionFamiliarity with research methods specific to Intimate Partner ViolenceStrong written and oral communication skillsFamiliarity with community development and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues.Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to work effectively with community based organizationsExcellent interpersonal skills with clients and co-workersProfessional development is encouraged and expected.Other InformationRegistered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing bodyFor more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/Requires a valid driver’s license and clear criminal record check.
