Join the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a term Educational Assistant in Ottawa, Ontario. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs while enhancing their academic growth. The OCSB is searching for a dedicated Educational Assistant to aid in the educational development of students facing physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. Working under the supervision of a classroom teacher, you will assist in daily learning activities and attend to individual needs. Your tailored support will enable each student to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to students with specific needs
• Assist in social and academic development within classrooms
• Address students' personal care and hygiene requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective learning
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma and a 2-year college diploma
• 2 years of relevant experience with special needs children
• Knowledge of relevant support techniques (PICS, PECS, ABA, etc.)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
