Accountabilities

- Lead engineering teams responsible for Edge Traffic Infrastructure, ensuring networking architecture remains resilient.

- Define and deliver a vision, strategy, and roadmap for system ingress and egress points, tying it to business impact.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to build robust networking solutions.

- Improve metrics for availability, performance, and resiliency of services.

- Take ownership of team operations and availability through monitoring and support practices.

- Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting standards for code review and design.

- Develop team talent through feedback and guidance.

Requirements

- 7+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership role focused on infrastructure or networking.

- Proven track record in delivering successful projects and managing stakeholders.

- Expertise in managing large-scale, distributed cloud infrastructure systems.

- Experience in scaling networking infrastructure such as CDNs and API Gateways.

- Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in ambiguous situations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
