Join Strathcona Community Hospital as an Emergency Licensed Practical Nurse. Utilize critical thinking and nursing skills in a patient-centered environment to deliver high-quality care.
As a key member of the interprofessional health care team, you will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department. Your responsibilities will include following clinical policies while effectively collaborating with the team. This role requires strong decision-making and judgment skills to manage patient care effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Deliver nursing interventions and care planning
• Maintain clinical standards in patient care delivery
• Document care and progress using clinical systems
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited practical nurse program
• Active registration with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
• 1+ years in emergency/acute care within last 2 years
• BCLS-HCP certification required
• Strong assessment and communication skills Provide critical nursing care in a vibrant hospital setting while enhancing your professional skills.
