Altera is seeking an FPGA Development Tools Engineer in Toronto, Ontario to innovate software tools for FPGA applications. Bring your expertise in design and development to this exciting position.
As a key player in the FPGA engineering team, you will research and optimize tools that facilitate the efficient use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays. Your work will blend strong programming skills in C++ and Python with an understanding of Verilog to enhance software abstractions for diverse applications including DSP algorithms and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Optimize software tools for FPGA integration
• Develop compilers and toolchains for hardware design
• Create models and frameworks for accelerated performance
• Support customer inquiries and technical integration
• Collaborate closely with hardware design teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in C++ and Python programming languages
• Familiarity with Verilog and TCL is a plus
• Understanding of hardware design principles
• Eligible for necessary Canadian export authorizations Contribute to pioneering FPGA technologies with your tool development skills at Altera.
