We are seeking a Senior Mine Engineer to manage technical support for operations and execute cost-effective mine planning. This role works closely with the Mining Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure safety and performance in underground operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining best practices in safety while enhancing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage mine planning and production processes
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and standards
• Regularly inspect work areas for compliance
• Coach and mentor the Engineering Department
• Monitor contractor performance and resource usage

Requirements:
• Bachelor in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in mining software like Deswik and VentSim
• Experience in narrow vein underground gold mining
• Strong understanding of mine ventilation systems
• Knowledge of performance management and accountability Excel in mine planning, safety measures, and contractor oversight while leading at Sugar Zone.
