- Referral Bonus Overview: Ensure raw materials are received entered into inventory and transported within and between plants.
Responsibilities:
- Receive material from steel mills and verify packing slips
- Receive Recog
- Mark/identify material
- Grind and condition stock as required
- Conduct Measurements and mathematical calculations
- Complete material receiving reports
- Load Patriot Forge truck for shipment of materials between plants
- Move raw materials within plant
- Conduct Product Material Identification test with PMI gun
- Maintain general housekeeping standards in material areas (5S)
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointed by management Experience/Skills/Education:
- High school diploma or 2 years experience working in a similar position
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects
- Previous experience working with steel is an asset
- Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, coordination, and priority-setting skills
- Good command of the English language both written and verbal
