Join the UBC Sauder School of Business as a Facilities and Operations Assistant. This role ensures that environments are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained while providing key operational support across multiple campuses.
As part of the Resources and Operations team, you'll support facilities management at UBC Sauder. Your responsibilities will include resolving facility issues, coordinating services, managing office resources, and ensuring the operational continuity of the school. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact addressing inquiries
• Oversee mail and courier operations for timely distribution
• Assess and respond to security concerns and emergencies
• Manage procurement and inventory for supplies and equipment
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and facility projects
Requirements:
• High School diploma and four years of related experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in facilities management preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs Leverage your strong operational skills to enhance the UBC Sauder community's facilities and services.
