Solving our customers most common transportation and logistics challenges, BlackBerry Radar can be used for tracking trailers, intermodal containers & chassis, equipment, railcars and more.**Asset Tracking Engineered for Intelligence**All BlackBerry Radar tracking data is secured with BlackBerry encryption and authentication services; the devices are powered by BlackBerry QNX, our OS for embedded systems. BlackBerry Radar devices are rugged and low maintenance, equipped with batteries that can last as much as five years.**The BlackBerry Radar team are hiring**We are seeking a Business Development Representative **to join our inclusive team** with an interest in making a significant impact at BlackBerry through our solution based software spearheading enterprise intermodal transportation and logistics challenges in North America. We dominate the chassis market, we go beyond trailers – there is lots to learn about supply chain and connected transportation.* Generate and manage opportunities through high-volume reactive outbound calling and conducting pre-call preparation* Provide Marketing support and promote BlackBerry Radar sales events associated with, but not limited to conferences, tradeshows and webinars* Demonstrates success through sales lead acceptance and contribution to pipeline and revenue* Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives and metric-based target(s)* Stay up-to-date on the latest BlackBerry products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs; attends applicable training, conferences, and learns new tools as needed* Some administrative work may be required.**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:*** Bachelor’s or high level degree preferred; relevant experience can be substituted for educational degree* Experience in business to business (B2B) tele-sales, business development, and/or other related experience,* Ability to generate leads over the phone, to provide customer-service and build/maintain relationships* Comfortable using business tools and software such as Microsoft 365 office programs and CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com (SFDC))* Effectively manages a large territory and multiple concurrent business processes* Effectively communicates in verbal and written form to various stakeholder’s who have differing levels of technical knowledge.* Transportation industry related experience preferred but not essential***Please apply for immediate consideration. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process. **Bonus:**The BlackBerry Sales Incentive Pay (SIP) program is a bonus incentive program designed to reward eligible employees for their contributions towards BlackBerry’s sales success.
