Remote Senior Compliance Data Analyst roles at Payward require Python, SQL, and transaction monitoring expertise across deposits and withdrawals.
As part of Payward, the parent company behind Kraken, this senior role supports Compliance decision-making through end-to-end data management. You will build datasets and pipelines, design dashboards, study transaction patterns, and translate requirements into production detection logic. The work also contributes to experimentation infrastructure for future machine learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own transaction monitoring logic across deposits and withdrawals
- Build Python and SQL pipelines for detection workflows
- Evaluate rules across coverage, alert quality, and sensitivity
- Deploy, monitor, and support production detection workflows
- Execute validated historical backfills with traceability
Requirements:
- Seven-plus years in data analysis, science, or management
- Fintech, crypto, financial services, or gambling industry experience
- Strong Python, SQL, statistical, and production systems skills
- Experience with dbt, workflow orchestration, testing, and CI/CD
- Based in Canada, the United States, or Brazil; fluent English Apply senior compliance analytics expertise to Python, SQL, monitoring logic, and production data workflows at Payward.
