The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA), EMS Division, is seeking a full-time Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to fill a Temporary Maternity Leave position (with possibility of extension). This role serves the vibrant community of Bonnyville, Alberta, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact while working with a forward-thinking management team in a diverse and growing region.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality ground ambulance services with professionalism.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness.
- Participate in continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- ACP, Registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP).
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license (with acceptable abstract).
- Valid BLS CPR Certificate.
Assets
- 1+ year ground ambulance experience.
- F.A.R.E. test or equivalent.
- ITLS & PEARS certifications.
Compensation & Perks
- Competitive compensation: $37.04 - $48.32/hour
- $3.25/hour weekend premium.

Work Schedule
This position follows a compressed work week with a 28-day rotation, consisting of 12-hour shifts. The schedule is 4 on, 5 off, alternating with 5 on, 4 off, with both day shifts and night shifts.
