Key Responsibilities
- Set up projects, cost codes, budgets, and job master data
- Manage accruals, journal entries, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Prepare client billings and monitor accounts receivable collections
- Reconcile contract values, holdbacks, billings, and forecasts
- Close projects and complete final cost reporting
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Five years of project accounting experience
- Experience supporting large construction projects
- Understanding of percentage of completion accounting
- Working toward or holding CPA or equivalent designation Apply project accounting, construction cost control, and financial reporting expertise with Valard’s Transmission group in Alberta.
