Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for new graduates or early-career professionals who want to develop a strong foundation in accounting and taxation, while working in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing corporate and personal tax returns (Canada and U.
S.).
- Support bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement for tax purposes preparation.
- Conduct research on tax regulations and assist in tax planning strategies.
- Help prepare compliance filings and supporting schedules for cross-border entities.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and managers on client deliverables.
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure accuracy in all work. Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA student designation (in progress or planning to pursue) preferred.
- Knowledge of Canadian and/or U.
S. tax is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
