The Role
As the Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be a crucial driver of GAIN’s growth, serving as the frontline for outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building. This is a cold outreach–heavy role, requiring confidence and proven success in cold calling, as well as outreach through email and LinkedIn.
You’ll support our North American expansion while building on our success across the UK, Mainland Europe, and Asia. This role is ideal for someone who is highly proactive, resilient, and eager to build a strong foundation in sales while contributing to GAIN’s long‑term vision.
Responsibilities
- Sales Pipeline Creation
- Creation of Sales Pipeline
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to generate and nurture new leads.
- Leverage multi-channel outreach (cold calls, email, LinkedIn) to build a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Proactively identify and engage with prospects to create new opportunities.
- Progression of Sales Pipeline
- Work in tandem with an assigned expert to move deals through the pipeline efficiently.
- Act as the driving force, ensuring a smooth progression from initial contact to meaningful engagements.
- Administrative Tasks
- Oversee essential administrative functions, such as scheduling meetings with prospects.
- Manage email communications and follow-ups to maintain effective and timely communication.
- Discovery Conversations, Proposals, and Negotiation
- Dive into discovery conversations, actively listening to understand prospects needs and preferences.
- Collaborate on the creation of compelling proposals that resonate with prospects objectives.
- Participate in negotiation processes, working toward mutually beneficial agreements.
- Contract Execution and Target Start Dates
- Once deals transition into contracts, collaborate closely with the Client Success Manager.
- Ensure a seamless execution of contracts, actively participating to meet our target start dates.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications, but we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not meet 100% of the requirements below.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of SDR or similar sales experience, with a clear focus on cold calling and cold outreach.
- Knowledge of sales processes and the ability to understand and follow company sales methods.
- Proven success generating opportunities through cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.

Pay range - The typical hiring range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. annually which includes both base salary and performance-based bonus components. The exact mix between base and bonus will be determined based on role-related skills, knowledge, and experience. This range reflects our commitment to our compensation philosophy, internal equity, and comes with a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
