* Follow QDC procedure steps as per PRO61-10 and PRO62-10.
* Conduct regular checks to be performed while press is running.
* Responsible for completion of daily production sheet and other paperwork as required in a timely manner.
* Keep checking/changing heat code & date stamp as required.
* Responsible for pulling a die/stamp when job is complete or as required.
* Always ensure bins are accurately tagged.
* Do regular safety checks on presses.
* Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts.
* Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.Requirements* Grade 12 or equivalent work experience.
* Must show some mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to load coil from coil car to feeder.
* Ability to start new coil through die.
* Ability to participate in all aspects of quick die change.
* Ability to use SmartPac and Spectrum Systems.
* Ability to remove old coil/strip from die.
* Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural and fast paced environmentThis job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:$20.50
