The role involves crafting therapeutic plans, enhancing medication safety, and conducting research while mentoring upcoming pharmacy professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Consult with healthcare professionals for therapeutic development
• Individualize medication therapy following patient evaluations
• Offer detailed counseling on medication use to patients
• Engage in quality improvement and clinical studies
• Supervise pharmacy students and new staff
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Successful completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program
• Familiarity with clinical drug evaluation and safety protocols
• Strong communication and organizational skills
