Under the supervision of the Electrical Director, the Electrical Project Manager manages the electrical portion of wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, each with a capacity of several hundredmegawatts, across Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

- Holda bachelor's degree in electrical engineering – power systems (an asset)or any relevant experience;

- Havemore than 10 years of experience in HV substation and MV networkconstruction;

- Knowledgeof the connection processes of Hydro-Québec, Hydro-One, AESO, etc.;

- Bebilingual in French and English, both orally and in writing;

- Havea synthetic and analytical mind and express themselves clearly;

- Bemeticulous and have great attention to detail when required;

- Standsout for their teamwork and ability to collaborate with remote teams;

- Beavailable for occasional travel within Canada.

Responsibilities

- Manageand participate in the electrical engineering of projects with consultingfirms and the client;

- Ensurethat engineering, procurement, and manufacturing activities meet criticalproject deadlines;

- Ensurethat the engineering delivered by consultants (drawings, studies, calculation notes, etc.) meets the client's needs and budgets, andcomplies with contractual and transmission network requirements.

- Purchasemajor substation equipment;

- Develop agreements with electrical subcontractors;

- Participatein project meetings;

- Monitor and support the site team as needed during construction;
