Job Title: Tableau Developer

Location: Halifax, NS (3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Summary:

A senior (8+ years) Tableau developer with extensive experience working with creating various reports (e.g., client lists, ad hoc reports, client hierarchy, balances, revenue, dashboards). Banking and /or Capital Markets experience is a big plus but not required.

Primary Focus: Internal reporting for revenue, internal metrics to business managers, regional heads.

Hands-on Development (90% of the time): Expert in Tableau for creating various reports (e.g., client lists, ad hoc reports, client hierarchy, balances, revenue, dashboards).

Work on homegrown reports and the BI platform.

Data Preparation: Addressing tech problems and handling non-business tasks.

Business Analysis (10% of the time): Collaborate directly with the business to understand and meet reporting needs. - reports related to lines of business, client hierarchy, and financial metrics.

Work on pilots and Proof of Concepts (POC) for new business (about 1/3 of the time).

Ideal Candidate:

Background: Must come from a banking environment.

Skills: Proficient in Tableau, experience with BI platforms, and a strong understanding of various reports

Role Expectation: 1/3 of time spent on pilots and POCs, 1/3 on data preparation, and the remaining on addressing technical problems and non-business tasks.
