Resumen del Puesto

El CG Generalist es responsable de realizar una amplia variedad de tareas relacionadas con el 3D, demostrando gran adaptabilidad y un amplio conjunto de habilidades en CG. Este profesional contribuye en modelado hard surface, look development, texturizado, animación, renderizado, shading, iluminación, tracking y efectos.

Funciones Principales

Entre las responsabilidades destacan:

- Gestión de publicación de assets y seguimiento para asegurar la usabilidad por parte del equipo.

- Control de calidad en configuraciones de iluminación realizadas por otros Houdini TDs para garantizar mejores prácticas y optimización de tiempos de render.

- Colaboración estrecha con compositores para asegurar renders eficientes, consistentes y limpios.

- Flexibilidad para cambiar de roles y proyectos según las necesidades.

- Mantenimiento de estándares estéticos, creativos y técnicos durante la producción.

Requisitos y Habilidades

El candidato ideal posee experiencia sólida previa como CG generalist en estudios de VFX, con habilidades demostradas en diversas disciplinas CG, comprensión profunda del pipeline CG y conocimientos técnicos avanzados. Además, cuenta con experiencia en áreas de personajes, mecánica y animación.

Se valoran especialmente:

- Capacidad para equilibrar calidad y tiempos de entrega.

- Conocimiento práctico de Maya, Houdini, Substance, Photoshop, Zbrush, Mari, Nuke, Shotgrid.

- Desarrollo de look de assets y iluminación de escenas dentro de Houdini, con renderizado en Mantra y Karma.
