SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
A person who is part of the care team and who provides assistive care related to activities of daily living. They see to the hygiene, well-being and supervision of users. They see to the comfort, general needs, of residents in a safe environment. They help them with their travels, carries out their transport and can accompany them outside the establishment.
They provide users with basic care and provide the care team with information on the health status and behaviour of users.
They can install devices for which they are trained. They ensure the availability, maintenance and proper functioning of equipment and materials. They transport equipment, samples and files.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma.
Or
- DEP in Homecare.
- Related experience is an asset.
Please note that applicants who do not have the above-mentioned requirements may be considered for this position if they possess the alternative profile below:
Alternative Profile:
- No specific diploma and;
- Three (3) to four (4) years of related experience;
- A reading and writing test must also be successfully completed to be considered.

LANGUAGE
• Fluent in Cree.
