Automotive Sales Consultant

LOCATION: Centennial Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Montague, Prince Edward Island

HOURS: Full-time: 40-45 hrs/week, rotation of Monday to Friday (8-5/9-6) and Saturday mornings (9-1).

WAGES: Commission based: $45,000-$70,000 per year + benefits (negotiable based on experience).

APPLICABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong customer service and sales abilities.

- Knowledge of automotive products, features, and specifications.

- Ability to understand and meet customer needs.

- Confidence in presenting and demonstrating vehicles.

- Good negotiation and closing skills.

- Basic computer literacy for sales tracking and documentation.

- Valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Customer Relationship:

- Build strong connections with customers by actively listening to their needs and providing personalized solutions.

- Maintain follow‑up communication to ensure satisfaction throughout their ownership experience.

- Vehicle Demonstration & Product Delivery:

- Showcase features and benefits of new and pre‑owned vehicles, guiding customers to the perfect match.

- Ensure a smooth, informative delivery process that highlights vehicle operating features.

- Sales Process:

- Present offers and financing options effectively, ensuring clarity and customer understanding.

- Complete accurate documentation and follow dealership policies for a seamless sales experience.

- Online Presence:

- Actively promote yourself and the dealership through online ads and engaging content to attract potential customers.

- Continuous Learning and Team Collaboration:

- Stay updated on automotive products, technologies, and sales techniques through ongoing training.

- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve dealership goals and deliver exceptional service.
